{"id":130,"date":"2018-12-14T09:49:44","date_gmt":"2018-12-14T09:49:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.pajh.org\/recipes\/?p=130"},"modified":"2018-12-14T09:49:44","modified_gmt":"2018-12-14T09:49:44","slug":"chelsea-buns","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.pajh.org\/recipes\/2018\/12\/14\/chelsea-buns\/","title":{"rendered":"Chelsea Buns"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1oz Fresh yeast<\/li>\n<li>1\/4pt Warm milk and water mix<\/li>\n<li>1tsp Salt<\/li>\n<li>1lb Strong, white bread flour<\/li>\n<li>3oz Margarine or butter<\/li>\n<li>3oz Granulated sugar<\/li>\n<li>2 medium eggs (beaten)<\/li>\n<li>2oz Currants<\/li>\n<li>2tbsp Icing sugar<\/li>\n<li>1tsp Milk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Method:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ol>\n<li>Dissolve the yeast in the milky water (around body temperature) with 1 tsp of sugar. Leave to froth, while you weigh out the other ingredients.<\/li>\n<li>Mix the salt, sugar and flour in a big bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Mix the frothy milk and yeast mix and the beaten eggs into the dry ingredients bowl. Form a dough.<\/li>\n<li>Cover. Place in a warmish area to rise<\/li>\n<li>Knead down once the mixture has doubled in size(around 45mins). Divide the roll into two balls. Roll out into rectangle shapes and cover the flat surface with butter or marge.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle the sugar and fruit evenly over the marge or butter.<\/li>\n<li>Roll each piece up into a fairly tight roll,and cut into 16 slices.<\/li>\n<li>Cover, and put to rise again.<\/li>\n<li>Once risen, cook on the top shelf of a hot oven (220 degrees C) for around 20 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Once browned,cover with foil but continue to cook.<\/li>\n<li>Make a glaze with the icing sugar and milk. Glaze the rolls whilst they are still fairly hot.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients: 1oz Fresh
