Brioche
Ingredients.
- 8oz Plain flour
- 1/2tsp Salt
- 1/2oz Sugar
- 2 Medium eggs
- 2oz Butter
- Level tsps dried yeast.
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 11/2 tbsp Warm water

- Dissolve the yeast with the 1/2 tsp sugar into the warmed water. (110 F)
- Melt the butter and allow to cool.
- Beat the eggs
- Add all the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients
- Work into a soft dough. Then knead for 5 minutes.
- Leave to rise. Can be done over 12 hours in the fridge. Cool rising makes the dough easier to shape
- Shape. leave to rise for around 1 hour, and place in a very hot oven to bake.
Best served warm.
