Hail and welcome!
Welcome to the Blog of Shadows. A concise, frank source of information about witchcraft and paganism, alongside my personal blog about daily life in Scotland as a witch.
Dusty tomes are therapeutic to flip through, but they are heavy, cumbersome and make you sneeze. Thus a Blog of Shadows is created to inspire and inform witches with an easy guide to correspondences, deities, divination methods and spells found in many neo-pagan, wiccan, animistic and omnist traditions. You’ll also find a handy Frequently Asked Questions section where there are answers from my own perspective, as well as giving information on other paths and their take on matters such as general concepts of magic, divination methods, performing and creating spells, pagan and other celebrations, topical pagan topics, and much more.
This is a safe platform to find useful information delivered in a impartial manner, or read and enjoy my random musings. It is very wyrd and quite queer.
About the creators

Hi, I am Carrie-anne. I’m a witch, sorceress and tarot reader. I live by the sea in the Lothian region of Scotland, with my partner and our cat. It is my passion to communicate and share knowledge, and to lend a little guidance in the vast, chaotic realms of all things witchy. I manage a bespoke spell casting service, and supply custom designed magical items and ingredients online.

I’m pajh and I’m a noob. I’m developing a personal magickal practice that has a sort of chaos-magick style, with elements of technomancy and traditional folk practice. I don’t claim to be any sort of expert but I’m on a learning journey, and you’re very welcome to follow along with me.
